A Bit About Mister Ed!
SAMD Limited Edition is truly one well put together jack. Due to him being second generation ADR, we will have him gelded by out vet, before he leaves our farm. However, this little man is NICE! He has excellent legs, a wide chest, beautiful chest, his gums are currently aligned, and he has a nice back. His spot pattern is also beautiful. They always say that great jacks make even better geldings. Well... this boy is going to make someone a FANTASTIC gelding!
Although we do not know Mister Ed's dam's background, his daddy has some great genes! Mister Ed is the second foal sired by HHAA Smitten's Tennessee Mojo, who is a very successful show jack of ours. Mojo has won Reserve High Point, for his category, at every NMDA Show we’ve competed for High Point in… including the 2024 NMDA National Show. Mojo also has an Excellence in Halter and an Excellence for Performance - In Hand. His pedigree includes a part of the Cobra line, My World Buster, Circle C Black Russian, Circle C Little Motown, Short Assets Cowboy, TTW Cowboy's Kalamazoo, HHAA Goosebumps, and more. Not only is he a direct descendant of many well-known names, but Mister Ed's Aunts and Uncles are also making names for themselves in the show ring.
Mister Ed will be registered with ADR and ACOSA, which means that he will still be able to show at NMDA and ACOSA Sanctioned Shows.
This little boy is extremely friendly and quick to learn. Within several hours of being born, he was already allowing me to pick up all 4 of his hooves, with 0 resistance. He is confident and happy to meet strangers. Although we do not know his dam's background, she is also a very nice donkey. She is built right and has nice size to her. With Mojo's lineage, plus what we know and have seen of Loretta, Mister Ed should be a great prospect for many different things!
Typically, we share the story of how we decided on their registered name. For right now, SAMD Limited Edition cannot be explained... but we look forward to sharing about it, in the future ;)
