A Bit About Creole!
He jumps, pulls a cart, goes over obstacles, and even does a 360 turn like a spinning top... everyone meet the king himself, Lil Graceland King Creole!
Creole is a 17.5 year old gelding. However, age is just a number to him. This boy is very strong and still loves to do everything you ask of him. He is very well trained and extremely sweet, which is part of the reason why listing him makes it even that much harder.
Creole does not belong to us. He actually belongs to a client that I train and show for. Creole was brought to our farm, back in March, and has been living with us ever since. After a couple attempts of trimming his hooves to make the maximum height requirement of 36", for a National Miniature Donkey Association sanctioned show, it simply is not fair to do it to him. We were told that he would make height; however, we discovered that it would require his hooves to be unnaturally short. Creole measures at approximately 36.5" tall. He is too tall for NMDA shows, unless he is entered only in the team driving classes.
Due to us not being able to show him at NMDA shows, he is not receiving the attention that he could in another home... which is literally the only reason why we and his owner discussed listing him for sale. Creole is no trouble to us. He gets along great with foals, other geldings, jennets, and our horses. He is currently with the "gelding gang," who have their own pasture. One of the geldings he has been with is SAMD Watchu Talkin Bout Willie, who has only just recently started his training but is extremely willing. They are the same age and do very well together. Willie and Creole can be sold as a pair. However, no matter what... if someone is interested in either of them, we are requiring that they both go to homes that will have another donkey companion for them. Although they are listed, we are not rushing to try to sell them. We are happy for them to stay here as well... but thought that we would see if someone would be interested in giving them their forever home and more one on one attention.
Creole is up to date of his vaccinations, coggins, and deworming. Although he is too big to show at NMDA Shows (besides team driving), he is registered MDR.
Please let us know if you are interested in Creole! He is such a joy and will be a lot of fun for someone to own. We have really been enjoying our time with him!
