A Bit About Classy!
Another amazing foal, produced by both Farmstead's Cotton Top Mounts and HHAA Smitten! Everyone meet SAMD Tennessee Classified (Classy)! This little girl is EXTREMELY nice. She has a wide chest, amazing legs, a beautiful head, and carries herself like she's a showoff. She is very confident and curious.
Classy's lineage has become very exclusive. On her Sire's side, her Grand Sire was shipped to Australia, after only having 2 foals born within the United States: one being Cotton Top and the other being his half-sister. Cotton Top's very achieved Dam, Frontier Legend's Cinna, has only ever been able to produce Cotton Top. His family tree is full of successful donkeys whose bloodlines are only getting harder to come by. He is a treasure that we are very grateful to have.
When it comes to siblings... Classy has some great ones! She is a full sister to our jennet, SAMD Lady Nightingale (Birdie). Birdie has a limited show record, due to us focusing on our older show donkeys this year... but she won 1st in her most recent NMDA Halter Yearling Class. Birdie is a stocky girl with a phenomenal demeanor. Everyone who meets her wants to buy her... but we cannot let her go. Classy's half-brother (same dam), HHAA Smitten's Tennessee Mojo, is our extremely successful show jack. He is a multi reserve and champion NMDA Hi-Point winner, Reserve Champion Halter Jack, Reserve and Champion ACOSA donkey, plus the 2026 NMDA Non-Driving Hi-Point National Champion. Mojo has only ever won reserve or champion hi-point. He is a great in hand donkey, loves to compete in driving classes, and is truly an all around jack that loves to perform. Although Cotton Top is a young sire, Classy's other siblings have really been proving themselves. They are built extremely nice, have fantastic dispositions, and are very willing.
We are very excited about this foal. Sadly, since we are keeping Birdie, it really does not make sense for us to also hold onto Classy. After watching her siblings start to mature, plus how fantastic her sire and dam are, I can confidently say that she would be a great addition to someone's program.
Classy's pedigree has an extensive list of well-known and successful donkeys... including Frontier Legend's Cinna, Farmstead's Henry Knox, Country Music's Eli Barsi, WLDF Tin Roof Sunday, Short Assets Starfire, My World Cheyenne, Country Music's George Jones and Garth Brooks, Heiken's Ark, MGF Red Jet, Carousel, Ass-Pirin Acres, Wit's End Badlands Marauder, Circle C Motown's Secret, Circle C Little Motown, Fisher's Tiny Gideon, M&M, Circle C Black Russian, Sunset Acres, My World Buster, S.S. Red Lightning, and more!!
We do require that our donkeys go to a home that provides another donkey as a companion... preferably same sex. We typically will only do same sex pairs, unless discussed in further detail. If you are interested in Classy, contact us for more information.
All of our foals prices include gelding (if they are a jack (unless discussed otherwise in depth)), vaccinations, boosters, rabies, negative coggins, several foal de-worming's, several hoof trims, health certificates (if they are leaving TN), etc. We give copies of and handle transferring MDR or ADR papers, and ACOSA papers (if they are spotted) into new owner's name. We also handle our foals A LOT. We pick up their hooves, starting at a day old... teach them to lead, stand tied, do some fun obstacle training, trailer loading, etc. Whether our donkeys go to show homes, therapy programs, pet homes, etc... we find all of this to be very important, to build a strong foundation, for them to be confident in their new homes.
