A Bit About Donna!
We feel so honored and extremely lucky to have Donna as part of our herd and our family! Donna is a descendant of the Cobra line. The Cobra's were some of the cleanest Miniature Mediterranean Donkey lines that you could find. Over time, it was very hard to come by them. Donna is a small, beautifully built, and an amazing tempered jennet. Not only is she gorgeous to look at but her mind is just as outstanding.
Donna is one of our donkeys who has attended a beautiful wedding. Many photos were taken and many kids came running up to give her lots of pets and hugs. It was a perfect event to show off just how calm, safe, and trustworthy she is. She was a big hit.
Donna has produced two beautiful foals for us, SAMD Optical Illusion and SAMD Peaky Blinders. SAMD Optical Illusion has won NMDA Champion Junior Halter Donkey, NMDA Reserve Junior Halter Donkey, NMDA Champion High Point Pre-Green, and NMDA Reserve High Point Pre-Green. She has been an amazing show jennet for us. SAMD Peaky Blinders has not yet been shown by new owners, but he is extremely willing, just like his half sister.
Donna is currently bred to SAMD Murphy, for a full sibling to SAMD Peaky Blinders, in August of 2026. We look forward to meeting this foal.
